You are loved

Jeremiah 31:3

The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:
“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you

Love is not really an option for human beings. Love is a necessity.

Research studies have been done in the former Soviet Republics were babies who were simply given the basics of life; food, shelter, and clean diapers but were not touched held or generally loved, simply died for no appear ant reason except for the lack of love.

We all need to both give and receive love. It hurts sometime to be the one who gives and gives and does not receive but that is where the Lord comes in. He gave and continues to give nonstop. His love for us is everlasting. Sometimes we can not feel His love but those are the times we must apply faith to our daily lives. We must choose to believe Him at his Word. The Bible says we must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Sometimes it does hurt to love but more often, it hurts more to not love.

God's love for us never fails. It is never lacking. It is ever present. Fight to believe it!
