40 Days to a Better You! Day 18

January 18

It's Friday end of the work week for many.  It is time for our Friday evening service. Every service has its own flavor and Friday is definitely different from Sunday morning. Come check it out!

1) Please remember to choose something to stop doing.

Whether it is....
- a bad habit
- a sin you have struggled with, or
- some kind of food or drink that you know is not good for you.

Whatever it is break free over this next 40 days

2) Keep reading Grace Walk and/or Holiness, Truth and the Presence of God

3) Get some kind of exercise - Go for a walk, park farther away from the store or the office. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Find some way to help you physical body work    harder and better for you.

4) Read the following Scriptures and think and pray about it through out the day. See what revelation the Lord will give you about it for you day, week, year, or life.

3 John 2

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Deuteronomy 8:18

And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

5) Please pray about the following items

In the Lord's prayer we are told to ask first for our daily bread

- Pray today and every day during our fast, a prayer of thanksgiving to God for what He has done for you!

- Pray for your prosperity blessing. As you see above, God desires that we prosper. This prosperity is in all ways not just finances. For many it is difficult to grasp the idea that God does want to bless but it is one of His promises for all of us. God is faithful to keeping His Word!

- Pray for your the Jan Kozik, Jon Kozik and Pastor Art Bradley. These three work very diligently to help people understand their finances, how to budget, and how to get out of debt. They work quietly helping our family break free, in very practical ways.

         - Pray for the Spirit of Faithfulness in our culture. The fruit of the Spirit will be evident wherever the Holy Spirit is present. Gossip, lying, cheating, are all the result of a lack of faithfulness. These problems are every where in our culture from government to friendships to church, people are caught up with their own selfishness and sense of entitlement rather than trusting the Lord and the people He places in your life. God is always faithful and will help us to be also.

          - Pray for one family in our church. perhaps someone who either their first or last name begins with "C". Pray that the Lord would bless and encourage them in some way today!
