We are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus
2 Corinthians 5:21
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him
Often we battle feeling unworthy or perhaps even condemned at times. Paul writes that Christ took on all of our sin, (to be sin for us). There is no sin that we ever committed or will commit that should keep us in bondage.
Christ broke the bondage of our sin. we no longer owe the debt of sin nor the penalty. We have been made free and more than free we have been made righteous in him.
We are pure, we are forgiven, and we are whole because of what He is done for us.
The Bible says we are the righteousness of God, made righteous by Christ on the cross. There is therefore no condemnation. We are free but we must choose to live that way.
