1) Please remember to choose something to stop doing.
Whether it is....
- a bad habit
- a sin you have struggled with, or
- some kind of food or drink that you know is not good for you.
Whatever it is break free over this next 40 days
2) Start reading Grace Walk and/or Holiness, Truth and the Presence of God
3) Get some kind of exercise - Go for a walk, park farther away from the store or the office. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Find some way to help you physical body work harder and better for you.
4) Read the following Scripture and think and pray about it through out the day. See what revelation the Lord will give you about it for you day, week, year, or life.
2 Corinthians 5: 17 -21
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.
What does it mean to be a new creation? What is part of our job? What does it mean to be an ambassador for Christ? What does it mean to be made right with God?
5) Please pray about the following items
