40 Days to a Better you! Day 31

January 31

It is Thursday! What a day, this tends to be one of the most productive work days and could very well be a most productive day for the Kingdom as well!

1) Please remember to choose something to stop doing.

Whether it is....
- a bad habit
- a sin you have struggled with, or
- some kind of food or drink that you know is not good for you.

Whatever it is break free over this next 40 days

2) Keep reading Grace Walk and/or Holiness, Truth and the Presence of God

3) Get some kind of exercise - Go for a walk, park farther away from the store or the office. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Find some way to help you physical body work    harder and better for you.

4) Read the following Scriptures and think and pray about it through out the day. See what revelation the Lord will give you about it for you day, week, year, or life.

Hebrews 4:12,13

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two- edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

How does God's Word help you to understand what is real and what is fake? How does it help you see the truth in people's hearts?

5) Please pray about the following items

In the Lord's prayer we are told to ask first for our daily bread

- Pray today and every day during our fast, a prayer of thanksgiving to God for what He has done for you!

- Pray for your wisdom blessings. The scripture says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. Wisdom is truly understanding what is truth and what is a lie. Wisdom causes you to make the right decision every time. Wisdom saves us heart-ache, money, and pain.

 - Pray for Pastor Mike and Beth. If you are looking for people who truly lay down their lives for the people, you have found them in Pastor Mike and Beth. They love to be with the people caring for them, praying for them and ministering to them. Their home is always open and so are their hearts. We have been blessed with a wonderful pastoral staff of loving and caring men and women of God. Pastor Mike and Beth are critical to the administration of all that happens at the church.

         - Pray for the Spirit of Patience in our culture. They that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength they shall mount up on wings of eagles they will run and not be weary, walk and not faint. I don't know about you but I don't like to wait, however it is only by waiting that we renew our strength and are able to run with endurance. If you want to have the strength to go on strong, from day to day then we must have patience.

          - Pray for one family in our church. perhaps someone who either their first or last name begins with "T". Pray that the Lord would bless and encourage them in some way today!
