40 Days to a Better You! Day 14

January 14

Good Day Monday!  It is the start of a new week and God's mercies are new every morning!

How's the exercise coming?

1) Please remember to choose something to stop doing.

Whether it is....
- a bad habit
- a sin you have struggled with, or
- some kind of food or drink that you know is not good for you.

Whatever it is break free over this next 40 days

2) Keep reading Grace Walk and/or Holiness, Truth and the Presence of God

3) Get some kind of exercise - Go for a walk, park farther away from the store or the office. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Find some way to help you physical body work    harder and better for you.

4) Read the following Scripture and think and pray about it through out the day. See what revelation the Lord will give you about it for you day, week, year, or life.

Proverbs 8: 17,18

I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.  Riches and honor are with me, enduring riches and righteousness.

Jeremiah 31:3

The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

What does it mean to be completely loved by God? How does is impact your life if we believe we are completely loved by God?

5) Please pray about the following items

In the Lord's prayer we are told to ask first for our daily bread

- Pray today and every day during our fast, a prayer of thanksgiving to God for what He has done for you!

- Pray for your health blessings that the Lord will continue to keep you and your family in great health! Many are battling various flu bugs, sinus infections, bronchitis and so much more. Diseases do not determine God's will but we can believe God for an overcoming health blessing to fall on each of us and the church as a whole! Lay hands on and pray for thosein your household who are not well and let's believe together for healing!

- Pray for your the teaching team. Terri, Kim, Amy, Lorrie, Sharen, Bill, Lorie, Elaine, Matt, and all those who teach our children and adult classes. Pray that as they share their gifts, they are refreshed, encouraged, and blessed as they work tirelessly to ministry to our children and each of us. Pray that each of our hearts are receptive to receiving what the Lord has for each of us through them.

         - Pray for the Spirit of Gentleness in our culture. The fruit of the Spirit will be evident wherever the Holy Spirit is present. Gentleness or the act of taking the harshness or severity out of a situation. Use the spirit of gentleness to bring calm in the middle of someone's storm or anger.

          - Pray for one family in our church. it could be any family at all. Pray that the Lord would bless and encourage them in some way today!
