What the Bible says about you....Day 22

God will always cause you to triumph

2 Corinthians 2:14

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

You might be saying right now I don't feel very triumphant. I can't imagine Jesus felt very triumphant as He was whipped, stripped and nail to a cross. I can't imagine Paul and Silas felt very triumphant in a prison cell. I can imagine Peter and John felt very triumphant having been beaten and thrown in jail.

You may be saying I have been given prophetic words about my future and the greatness God has in store. I can imagine David and Joseph saying the same thing. I can imagine the church in Corinth going through the persecution they were facing and receiving this very word from Paul saying, "You have got to be kidding Paul".

David wrote in Psalm 30:5 weeping last for a night but joy comes in the morning.

We need to pray for a "God perspective" on all things. It is His good bless to bless you. Romans 8:17 from two days ago says that we are heirs of the Kingdom but we must also know that we will suffer with Him.

God wants to bless your socks off. He wants to use you to change your world! He wants to meet all of your needs but we must choose to trust Him in all things, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Bad things will happen. We will go through hard places but if our relationship with Him is so shallow that when we hit these difficult places we give up or fall into sin, or turn our backs on Him then we will never really triumph in anything.

If we know Him, we can savor of His knowledge in every place. The devil may try to get those who trust him, down but we will triumph in every way always knowing He will give us the victory. We are not sure if it will be today, tomorrow or when, but He knows us, loves us, has His hand on us and will cause us to triumph in all things.
