40 Days to a Better You! Day 33

February 2

It is Saturday! A Day to rest and enjoy family and also a day to get some things done around the house that need to taken care of.

1) Please remember to choose something to stop doing.

Whether it is....
- a bad habit
- a sin you have struggled with, or
- some kind of food or drink that you know is not good for you.

Whatever it is break free over this next 40 days

2) Keep reading Grace Walk and/or Holiness, Truth and the Presence of God

3) Get some kind of exercise - Go for a walk, park farther away from the store or the office. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Find some way to help you physical body work    harder and better for you.

4) Read the following Scriptures and think and pray about it through out the day. See what revelation the Lord will give you about it for you day, week, year, or life.

Hebrews 13:5b, 6

For He Himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. 6 So we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?

Psalm 121:4

Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper;

Psalm 139:7 - 10

Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? 8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me.

Is there any place in the world, in your head or heart that you can go where God isn't with you? What do these scriptures say to you about His love and care for you?

5) Please pray about the following items

In the Lord's prayer we are told to ask first for our daily bread

- Pray today and every day during our fast, a prayer of thanksgiving to God for what He has done for you!

- Pray for your fruitfulness blessings, that the Lord will continue to break us free of everything that  would hinder or stop our fruitfulness! The Father desires for us to bear fruit. Because we are in the Vine it is unnatural for us to not bear fruit. Expect fruitfulness in all that you do!

 - Pray for those battling addictions. There are many forms of addiction in the church it is easy to talk about alcohol, tobacco, gambling, food, and sex addictions but there are also people who are religiously addicted they feel comfortable in religion but not in the presence of the Lord, there are those with addictions to people where rather than loving and lifting others up they are in unhealthy relationships that keep them in bondage. There are many others. Anything that compels you to consistently act in an un-Christ-like manner is an addiction.

         - Pray for the Spirit of Meekness in our culture. Many people actually have a very real problem with this part of the fruit of the Spirit. We have learned through our lives that our strengths are to get us from here to there but meekness requires us to recognize that our strengths come from the Lord and He expects us to be totally submitted to Him, strengths and weaknesses. Meekness dictates that we understand our strengths and use them but rather than under our authority we both our strengths and weaknesses surrender to His authority.

          - Pray for one family in our church. perhaps someone who either their first or last name begins with "V". Pray that the Lord would bless and encourage them in some way today!

40 Days to a Better You! Day 32 of our fast

February 1

It is Friday! Great day for fellowship, remember we have service at 7. What a wonderful way to kick off the weekend!

Hebrews 4:12,13

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two- edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

1 John 4: 4 - 6

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. 6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

How does God's Word help you to understand what is real and what is fake? How does it help you see the truth in people's hearts?

5) Please pray about the following items

In the Lord's prayer we are told to ask first for our daily bread

- Pray today and every day during our fast, a prayer of thanksgiving to God for what He has done for you!

Pray for your relationship blessings, that the Lord will continue to heal and strengthen every relationship in your life! Pray that He will order your relationships as well, eliminating those that are not a blessing to you and strengthening all those where you can be a blessing. He can and will heal and strengthen every relationship we place in His hands!

 - Pray for those in impossible situations. We have some in our church that need healing, that according to the doctors are impossible. There are some in our church that are in need of a financial miracle that would be impossible except for God. There are some in our church who have challenging relationships that apart from a miracle, have no hope. God is in the business of bringing truth to every situation, God's truth of healing, freedom, and deliverance.

         - Pray for the Spirit of Gentleness in our culture. Let's pray that God will be able to raise in our culture Gentlemen and Gentlewomen who treat people with respect and honor. Every person  deserves an element of respect and when they receive it most people will respond in kind.

          - Pray for one family in our church. perhaps someone who either their first or last name begins with "U". Pray that the Lord would bless and encourage them in some way today!

40 Days to a Better you! Day 31

January 31

It is Thursday! What a day, this tends to be one of the most productive work days and could very well be a most productive day for the Kingdom as well!

- Pray for your wisdom blessings. The scripture says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. Wisdom is truly understanding what is truth and what is a lie. Wisdom causes you to make the right decision every time. Wisdom saves us heart-ache, money, and pain.

 - Pray for Pastor Mike and Beth. If you are looking for people who truly lay down their lives for the people, you have found them in Pastor Mike and Beth. They love to be with the people caring for them, praying for them and ministering to them. Their home is always open and so are their hearts. We have been blessed with a wonderful pastoral staff of loving and caring men and women of God. Pastor Mike and Beth are critical to the administration of all that happens at the church.

         - Pray for the Spirit of Patience in our culture. They that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength they shall mount up on wings of eagles they will run and not be weary, walk and not faint. I don't know about you but I don't like to wait, however it is only by waiting that we renew our strength and are able to run with endurance. If you want to have the strength to go on strong, from day to day then we must have patience.

          - Pray for one family in our church. perhaps someone who either their first or last name begins with "T". Pray that the Lord would bless and encourage them in some way today!

40 Days to a Better You! Day 30

January 30

It is Wednesday! We are 75% of the way there. You should be proud of yourself! Your life is changing and you should be hearing the Lord more clearly, your understanding of His direction in your life will become more clear every day.

Isaiah 53:5

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Romans 8:6,7,9

So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to deathBut letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace7For the sinful nature is always hostile to GodIt never did obey God’s lawsand it never willBut you are not controlled by your sinful natureYou are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you

What do these scriptures say about our living in peace? Does God's Spirit control you?

5) Please pray about the following items

In the Lord's prayer we are told to ask first for our daily bread

- Pray today and every day during our fast, a prayer of thanksgiving to God for what He has done for you!

- Pray for your health and healing blessings. God is on the move in our church with healing just this past Sunday Rosalie shared how the Lord had opened her ear so she no longer needs a hearing aid. This is only a beginning. I am asking for health as well because healing will not be necessary if we are all in great health. Sometimes the Lord wants to speak to us about the way we eat, rest, exercise, and handle stress. these are all very practical things that the Lord can give us wisdom about to keep us healthy.

 - Pray for Pastor Gary and Kathy. It is such a blessing to have the depth of understanding of the word and strength of character that we have in our leadership team. When you say Man of your word, you should think of Pastor Gary together they are a couple full of the love of God and love for each other and they freely share that with others. Their hearts for the sick and hurting have given them a great desire to see the wounded healed, that is why you will see them often if you are ever in the hospital. Together they also have a strong heart to mentor and see people become who the Lord has called them to be. Pray for them they are a wonderful example of the Lord always have a great plan for our lives.
         - Pray for the Spirit of Peace in our culture. There is a bumper sticker I have seen on numerous occasions that reads Know Him Know Peace, No Him, No Peace. It is so true! As you are reading Holiness, Truth and the Presence of God you are finding a clear way to knowing the Lord. Allow His peace to reign in your heart and share that with a world who does not know Him and you will see a change where you live, shop, eat, and /or work.

          - Pray for one family in our church. perhaps someone who either their first or last name begins with "S". Pray that the Lord would bless and encourage them in some way today!

40 Days to Better You! Day 29

January 29

It is Tuesday! What does the Lord have for you today? It is a new day, expect great things!

John 8:32, 36

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

2 Corinthians 3:17

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

1 John 4: 1- 4

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Do you feel free today? If not, what is holding you back? God promises freedom, liberty and overcoming what will it take for you to walk in that freedom today?

5) Please pray about the following items

In the Lord's prayer we are told to ask first for our daily bread

- Pray today and every day during our fast, a prayer of thanksgiving to God for what He has done for you!

- Pray for your freedom blessings, that the Lord will continue to break us free of everything that binds us. We need to be set free of any lies, wounds, rejections, fears, addictions, sins, or any other thing that pulls us away from the Lord!

 - Pray for Pastor Art and Kay. When you look up faithfulness in the dictionary their pictures should be there. They have been faithful to the Lord and this church for many years. They are a perfect match with Pastor Art's demonstrative personality and Kay's sweet demeanor. They have touched many lives over the years making sure that people walk in the fullness of the Lord's Spirit. They have had many struggles and battles over the years and have faithfully trusted the Lord and He has brought them through victorious every time.

         - Pray for the Spirit of Joy in our culture. There is fullness of joy when we learn to walk in freedom. Our culture is in so much bondage to lust, hedonism, fear and so many other things but when we get free and we share that freedom with others that will walk in that freedom and know the joy we all have.

          - Pray for one family in our church. perhaps someone who either their first or last name begins with "Q" and "R". Pray that the Lord would bless and encourage them in some way today!

40 Days to a Better You! Day 28

January 28

It is Monday! It is time for a new week and a fresh start! God's mercies are new every morning expect new mercies today!

2 Chronicles 16:9a

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.

Psalm 61:3

For You have been a shelter for me, A strong tower from the enemy.

1 Peter 3:12,13

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.

The Lord is your guardian, protector and the one who wants to bless you, Do you allow Him to be your guardian? What ways are you protecting or defending yourself when He wants to do a better job? How do these verses encourage you today regarding some of the situations you are facing?

5) Please pray about the following items

In the Lord's prayer we are told to ask first for our daily bread

- Pray today and every day during our fast, a prayer of thanksgiving to God for what He has done for you!

- Pray for your overcoming blessing. There is much that we will go through as Christians and the Lord promises to cause us to overcome in them all. Believe the Lord for blessings that in every situation you would be, as the Bible promises, more than a conquerer.

 - Pray for Pastor Don and his wife Linda. They are new to us but are already impacting a number of folks in the church. He has a true pastors heart and Linda has a heart of gold. Take time to get to know them but pray for them that everything falls into place and that his counseling and their pastoral gifts are refreshed and blessed.

         - Pray for the Spirit of Love in our culture. God is Love. He is not only the author and founder of Love as a character trait but it is who He is. There is so much more about real love that we don't yet grasp but I believe as we pray that the Lord will reveal it to us in very powerful ways and enable us to become fully engaged with our culture, through His love.

          - Pray for one family in our church. perhaps someone who either their first or last name begins with "O" and "P". Pray that the Lord would bless and encourage them in some way today!

40 Days to a Better You! Day 27

January 27

It is Sunday! I hope you are expecting great things from the Lord! God is going to do great things in the service today as you prepare for Him to do great things in and through you!

Romans 6:14

For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

What does it mean to you that sin will not have control over you? Do you feel cleansed and free of every sin you have ever committed?

5) Please pray about the following items

In the Lord's prayer we are told to ask first for our daily bread

- Pray today and every day during our fast, a prayer of thanksgiving to God for what He has done for you!

 - Pray for your health blessings that the Lord will continue to keep you and your family in great health! Many are still battling various flu bugs , sinus infections, bronchitis and so much more. Diseases do not determine God's will but we can believe God for an overcoming health blessing to fall on each of us and the church as a whole! Lay hands on and pray for thosein your household who are not well and let's believe together for healing!

- Pray for those who are on the finance committee, Al Gagliardi, Jon Kozik, and Gino Bosetti. These guys work tirelessly serving the Pastor Council and the church, preparing the budget and giving recommendation to help us grow and improve the facilities. They have a very hard job.

         - Pray for the Spirit of Self Control in our culture. Part of what is happening in your life and you are studying the Word daily, praying daily, exercising daily, and have given up something is that you are developing self-control in all of those area. Self Control leads us to surrender to God in all ways. We are to bring our flesh under subjection to Christ and then He does His perfect work through us.

          - Pray for one family in our church. perhaps someone who either their first or last name begins with "N". Pray that the Lord would bless and encourage them in some way today!

40 Days to a Better You! Day 26

January 26

It is Saturday! You should notice some changes, you should be growing stronger and your faith and understanding of who God is! Start expecting and believing for great things. God is maturing you, preparing you for greatness. Just Believe!

Acts 1:8

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

Daniel 12:3

Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.

John 14:12

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

What do you think you can do to change the world? What works do you think the Lord will enable you to do to touch your world?

5) Please pray about the following items

In the Lord's prayer we are told to ask first for our daily bread

- Pray today and every day during our fast, a prayer of thanksgiving to God for what He has done for you!

- Pray for your understanding of God's blessings. There are hundreds of promises and blessings in the Word and some times we don't either believe them or feel worthy to receive the blessings but they are the promises of God and God will not go back on His word. He is faithful! Pray that you can have a deeper more powerful understanding of His blessings and promises.

- Pray for those who are suffering persecution around the world. About a week ago I woke up with my heart breaking for persecuted Christians in Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan and India only to find out later that afternoon about the American/Iranian Pastor Saeed being held in prison in Iran. We don't fully understand what many around the world are facing but as we pray, as in the book of Acts, prison doors can open and chains fall off and out persecuted brothers and sister will be strengthened and encouraged.

         - Pray for the Spirit of Faithfulness in our culture. Part of the quality of faithfulness is not running away nor giving up. Our culture is a throw-away culture, we dispose of everything including important things like relationships, unborn children, and marriages to name a few. In churches when people start feeling the pressure to mature they run away. In relationships when things get tough people break them off. If something is inconvenient we find away to get rid of it. Faithfulness is a quality that challenges us to hang in through the tough times, the difficult situations and to see what the Lord has to teach us through them. If we remain faithful there is a blessing at the end every time.

          - Pray for one family in our church. perhaps someone who either their first or last name begins with "M". Pray that the Lord would bless and encourage them in some way today!

40 Days to a Better you! Day 25

January 25

Sorry about the mix up yesterday, if you already read this blog you may have missed the one that was scheduled for yesterday "Day 24"

It is Friday! It is a time to relax and enjoy and much deserved weekend. Make sure that you are spending time with you church family this weekend. We need each other and being in church is a great way to be with your family.

James 4:7, 8a

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.  Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.

Colossians 1:13

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love

Colossians 2: 10,15

"And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it."

The devil is defeated by Christ work on the cross, are there ways in your life that He is alive? If so, how can the application of these scriptures defeat him for you?

5) Please pray about the following items

In the Lord's prayer we are told to ask first for our daily bread

- Pray today and every day during our fast, a prayer of thanksgiving to God for what He has done for you!

- Pray for your health and healing blessing. We have had many people instantaneously healed in the last few months and we have some that have taken their time. God is the healer, we are not but it is part of his promises to us that he will heal. Healing is only the beginning, some having walked away from the promises of God have walked away from his blessings and opened the door to the problem returning. Healing should remind us of the goodness of God and cause us to desire to stay in Him.

- Pray for those who are unemployed or underemployed. The enemy of our souls wants to limit the way we think and will also use others to keep us mentally and emotionally strapped, limited to no job or a dead-end job. Pray that the Lord opens all kinds opportunities for our people so that all of their skills, talents and abilities can be used and that they will have enough for all of their needs and enough for every good work. We have an amazing group of people at our church that simply need a break.

         - Pray for the Spirit of Kindness in our culture. There is a great book called the "Conspiracy of Kindness" The idea is to be intentionally kind to someone you don't even know, pay for the persons lunch behind you in line, shovel a neighbors walk, randomly help someone with a task they are doing even if you don't know them. Kindness kills arrogance, hatred, and pride and it also grows love and joy. Try it today and pray that kindness floods our region and nation.

          - Pray for one family in our church. perhaps someone who either their first or last name begins with "L". Pray that the Lord would bless and encourage them in some way today!

40 Days to a Better You! Day 24

January 24

It is Thursday another day of God's goodness and grace being poured out on all of us! Look forward to what the Lord is going to do today!

Mark 16: 17,18

And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.

What does it mean to you that you believe? What kind of signs follow you now and what signs do you want to follow you?

5) Please pray about the following items

In the Lord's prayer we are told to ask first for our daily bread

- Pray today and every day during our fast, a prayer of thanksgiving to God for what He has done for you!

- Pray for your household salvation blessing. The Philippian jailer found, because of his faith in the Lord, his entire household came to the Lord; children, parents, servants, and extended family all came to the Lord. If there is someone in your family or extended family who does not know the Lord believe with me that they will come to Christ.

- Pray for the singles in our church. It is harder to be single in this culture. There is so much pressure to be sexually active and there is so much pressure to simply be with somebody when the Lord may be calling people to focus completely on Him. Some times God wants us to wait until we are completely ready to be in a relationship or until the person we are to be in relationship with is ready. Feeling lonely is a hard and dangerous place to be. Pray that all of our singles, regardless of age will see the Lord meeting them with their every need.

         - Pray for the Spirit of Meekness in our culture. Jesus said that He is lowly and meek. There is no way to truly be like Jesus apart from meekness. Once again it is recognizing all the power, authority, strength, and talent that we each have and surrendering them to the Lord, using them at His command and His command only.

          - Pray for one family in our church. perhaps someone who either their first or last name begins with "K". Pray that the Lord would bless and encourage them in some way today!

40 days to a Better You! Day 23

January 23

It is another day where we can get together as family and Pastor Gary's foundation principles class begins tonight. I look forward to Wednesdays it is a time if I have some freedom that I get the chance to poke my head into some of the kids classes and say "Hi". We are family and family nights are a time when you really can fellowship with other church family members. Come and try it if you haven't.

Genesis 2:13

And the Lord God said, It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.

Hebrews 13:4

Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

1 Peter 3:1, 7

1 Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, 7 Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.

Only a very few select people have been chosen by God to not marry so most of us will marry or are married. What does God think about marriage? What should your marriage or the marriages of those around you look like based on these scriptures?

5) Please pray about the following items

In the Lord's prayer we are told to ask first for our daily bread

- Pray today and every day during our fast, a prayer of thanksgiving to God for what He has done for you!

- Pray for your fruitfulness blessings, that the Lord will continue to break us free of everything that  would hinder or stop our fruitfulness! The Father desires for us to bear fruit. Because we are in the Vine it is unnatural for us to not bear fruit. Expect fruitfulness in all that you do! Pray particularly that we might bear fruit in our relationship one with another, especially in our marriages.

- Pray for Marriages. Your marriage, other marriages in our church, and the marriages you know. Our culture has a particular attack on marriages and a marriage between a man and a woman is foundational to the security of our culture.

         - Pray for the Spirit of Gentleness in our culture. Scripture says that a soft answer turns away wrath. If we can see people and situations the way the Lord sees them he will cause us to walk in gentleness toward everyone, expecting the best in every situation. Jesus is gentle, yet He is the all powerful God. Gentleness does not limit our power only enhances that we know how to live like Christ to others

          - Pray for one family in our church. perhaps someone who either their first or last name begins with "I" or "J". Pray that the Lord would bless and encourage them in some way today!

40 Days to a Better You! Day 22

January 22

You should be starting to experience a spiritual freedom and joy that the Lord brings as we seek Him. You should also be feeling a little freedom from stiffness and physical limitations as you have been moving a bit more. This is the time when most people give up on the New year's resolutions. I hope this has not been a resolution to you but instead a commitment to preparing for all that the Lord has for you!

2 Corinthians 9:8

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

Philippians 4:19

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Mark 11:24

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

God wants to be your source of everything, what do you need to trust Him for today? What does it mean to you that He will supply according to His riches?

5) Please pray about the following items

In the Lord's prayer we are told to ask first for our daily bread

- Pray today and every day during our fast, a prayer of thanksgiving to God for what He has done for you!

- Pray for your overcoming blessing. I know I asks you to pray this yesterday but in light of the scriptures I had you read today I though some may have difficulty believing that god wants to be their source. Praying an overcoming blessing will help you to believe you can overcome. There is much that we will go through as Christians and the Lord promises to cause us to overcome in them all. Believe the Lord for blessings that in every situation you would be, as the Bible promises, more than a conquerer.

- Pray for Impact Group. Mike and Beth Hough head this group of 20 and 30 some things. They are growing by leaps and bounds and many also have much to overcome. Pray that the Lord strengthens, encourages, blesses them and solidifies their daily walk with the Lord. Some have had a relationship with the Lord for a life time and some are brand new to this walk but all want to be the men and women of God He has called them to be.

         - Pray for the Spirit of Patience in our culture, especially with parents with their children and husbands and wives toward each other. There is a real struggle for people to listen to one another and hear one another. We are all too busy with so many other things that must get done but next to the Lord our most important priority should be our spouses and our children.

          - Pray for one family in our church. perhaps someone who either their first or last name begins with "H". Pray that the Lord would bless and encourage them in some way today!

40 Days to a Better You! Day 21

January 21

It is Monday time to start a fresh week. It is also the start of the second half of our 40 days to a better you!

This week is another opportunity for the Lord to do amazing things in and through you. How is reading of Grace Walk and Holiness, Truth, and the Presence of God coming? We are all literally on the same page as we are reading together.

If you have been doing all these things you should be feeling and seeing a difference in you spiritual and physical life!

Pray for President Obama and his family and our nation as the official inauguration takes place today.

Isaiah 43:2

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.

Psalm 3:3

But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head.

1 Peter 3:12,13

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.

What is it that you need the Lord to defend you or protect you from? The Lord promises defense and protection always as we trust Him in what areas do you need to believe for this in your life?

5) Please pray about the following items

In the Lord's prayer we are told to ask first for our daily bread

- Pray today and every day during our fast, a prayer of thanksgiving to God for what He has done for you!

- Pray for your overcoming blessing. There is much that we will go through as Christians and the Lord promises to cause us to overcome in them all. Believe the Lord for blessings that in every situation you would be, as the Bible promises, more than a conquerer.

- Pray for Paula Miller and all the folks who are weekly interceding for all of us. Our intercession teams have been faithful for years to constantly pray for every family in the church as well as needs in our region and the world. They are sacrificing their time to pray for us so please lift them up in prayer today.

         - Pray for the Spirit of Peace in our culture. Peace is the absence of fear and the absence of chaos. Peace, like love, is not just a feeling but a person. We carry peace with us, Ephesians   6 tells us that everywhere we walk we have the power to bring peace. Pray for peace to be everywhere we go and in everything we do so people might come to know the Prince of Peace.

          - Pray for one family in our church. perhaps someone who either their first or last name begins with "G". Pray that the Lord would bless and encourage them in some way today!
