40 Days to a Better You! Day 20

January 20

It is Sunday and we are now half way through the fast! It is a great day! I hope you are excited about what God is going to do.

1) Please remember to choose something to stop doing.

Whether it is....
- a bad habit
- a sin you have struggled with, or
- some kind of food or drink that you know is not good for you.

Whatever it is break free over this next 40 days

2) Keep reading Grace Walk and/or Holiness, Truth and the Presence of God

3) Get some kind of exercise - Go for a walk, park farther away from the store or the office. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Find some way to help you physical body work    harder and better for you.

4) Read the following Scriptures and think and pray about it through out the day. See what revelation the Lord will give you about it for you day, week, year, or life.

Ecclesiastes 2:26

To the man (woman) who please Him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness

2 Thessalonians 3:3

But The Lord is Faithful and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.

What do you need from the Lord right now? How do these verses show that God will meet those needs?

5) Please pray about the following items

In the Lord's prayer we are told to ask first for our daily bread

- Pray today and every day during our fast, a prayer of thanksgiving to God for what He has done for you!

- Pray for your fruitfulness blessings, that the Lord will continue to break us free of everything that  would hinder or stop our fruitfulness! The Father desires for us to bear fruit. Because we are in the Vine it is unnatural for us to not bear fruit. Expect fruitfulness in all that you do!

- Pray for your the Wally and Bev Cieply and all the people who serve on the Go Team. Our Go Team is folks who are in contact with all the organizations we support through our tithe as a church. They encourage, bless, pray for, and hold accountable all the ministries we support making sure that they have all they need to be a success in the Kingdom and that our tithes are being put to the best use.

         - Pray for the Spirit of Love in our culture. Our culture has a firm grasp on lust. They are finding it unfulfilling. Many are left empty, heart broken, and some literally scarred as a direct result of false love. Love is a person not just a feeling. Pray that we are the light of love in our culture that people will see what real love is like through us.

          - Pray for one family in our church. perhaps someone who either their first or last name begins with "E". Pray that the Lord would bless and encourage them in some way today!
